Chief Engineer

Badamdar Hotel and Residences is looking for a Chief Engineer to lead engineering team.

The main responsibilities will be as mentioned below:


Ensure proper organization and management of the technical department;
Prepare and approve the annual technical activity plan;
Monitor the preparation of work schedules in accordance with the workload and priorities of the technical department;
Monitor the implementation of preventive maintenance of equipment and technical services in guest rooms;
Lead the implementation of an effective problem reporting system, along with other daily general maintenance and repair work;
Prepare, manage, and control annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets to ensure effective management of the technical department;
Prepare purchase requisitions in conjunction with the procurement department;
Prepare appropriate specifications for all works involving external contractors or consultants


Successful candidate should have:


Higher technical education;
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managerial role (hospitality background will be advantage)
Excellent knowledge of hotel heating/ventilation as well as security systems
Ability to train/coach employees when it is required
