Cost Controller / Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:


Monitor and analyze cost expenditures and financial commitments.
Track and control project or operational costs against budgets. Identify cost variances and investigate root causes, develop corrective actions as needed.
Generate regular cost reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
Reconcile financial reports across departments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Reconcile various financial reports across departments for accuracy.


Qualifications & Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in cost control, audit, accounting, or a related field.
IFRS experience & knowledge.
Strong understanding of financial principles and cost management techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in preparing detailed financial reports and variance analysis.
Knowledge of procurement processes and cost-effective purchasing practices.
Experience with a Big 10 accounting firm is a plus.
ACCA F2 and F3 certificates are a plus.

Work schedule: 5-day work week;
Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00;
