Responsibilities:





Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a luxurious first impression.
Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and satisfied with their seating arrangements. Manage table reservations and walk-ins, optimizing seating capacity. Personalize guest interactions by remembering preferences and special requests.
Assist in providing menu recommendations and explaining signature dishes or specials. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Maintain and manage the restaurant’s reservation system, ensuring smooth operations.
Communicate guest preferences and VIP arrivals to the restaurant team. Work closely with the service team to ensure timely table turnover and seamless service.
Ensure the reception area is impeccably clean and presentable at all times.
Oversee restaurant ambiance, including lighting, music, and overall guest comfort.
Ensure menus, promotional materials, and décor align with luxury branding. Liaise with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service flow. Assist with special events, private dining, or VIP experiences.
Maintain knowledge of hotel offerings, promotions, and special menus to inform guests.


Requirements:





Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest-facing role within a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms, Resy) is preferred. Exceptional communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills to provide a warm, welcoming, and engaging guest experience.
Well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to luxury hospitality standards.
Customer service excellence, with the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
Multitasking abilities, managing reservations, walk-ins, and guest inquiries efficiently. Team collaboration, working closely with servers, bartenders, and managers. Basic knowledge of fine dining etiquette, food, and beverages to assist guests.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A warm, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
