IT Procurement Specialist

Key responsibilities:


Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with existing vendors
Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT products and services
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, prices, and emerging technologies
Analyze and optimize costs associated with procurement without compromising quality
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of service and product quality
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
Draft, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents
Monitor and enforce contract terms, including delivery schedules and performance metrics
Work closely with technical teams to ensure that procured IT products and services meet quality standards and specifications
Collaborate with IT teams, finance, legal, and other relevant departments to streamline procurement processes
Communicate effectively with vendors, ensuring clear expectations and timely issue resolution


Required skills and qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, and at least a year of experience in IT procurement
Strong understanding of IT products and services


Excellent analytical and negotiation skills


Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in 1 C (8.3)
