Responsibilities:





1. Guest Reception & Seating:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the restaurant, lounge, or dining area.
Escort guests to their assigned tables and assist with seating arrangements.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in guests efficiently.
Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials or promotions.
2. Customer Service & Guest Experience:
Offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to enhance guest satisfaction.
Address special requests, such as dietary preferences or seating preferences.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
3. Coordination & Communication:
Maintain an updated seating chart and coordinate table turnover.
Inform guests about wait times and manage expectations.
Work closely with the restaurant manager, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Assist in organizing VIP or special event bookings.
4. Lobby & Dining Area Presentation:
Ensure the entrance, waiting area, and dining space are clean and well-maintained.
Monitor table settings and ensure menus, utensils, and napkins are properly arranged.
Oversee the tidiness of the hostess stand and front desk.
5. Administrative & Operational Support:
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage online booking systems.
Assist in maintaining guest records and tracking repeat customers for personalized service.
Provide reports on guest feedback and service improvements to management.
