Group Financial Analyst

Work location: Baku

Job Responsibilities:


Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for the Group of Compaies, and conduct detailed analysis of the results presented in the financial statements and coordinate timely submission.
Prepare analytical reports for the top management on the financial performance of the Group.
Assist in developing financial forecasts based on activity analysis.
Assist in preparation of budgets for companies within the Group and the Group's consolidated budget.
Monitor the implementation of the approved annual budget, prepare reports on deviations, and work with relevant staff members to propose corrective actions if required.
Conduct analysis of capital expenditures and their efficiency, make recommendations and monitor the execution.
Analyze the profitability of projects planned by the Group.
Calculate profitability of new products and provide recommendations to optimize returns.


Qualifications & experience required:


Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, accounting, etc.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.
Knowledge of languages: Azerbaijan – native, English - advanced.
Technical knowledge: IFRS preferred.
Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
CIMA, ACCA, PMP (preferred but not mandatory).
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills.
Financial modelling skills preferred.
Excellent presentation skills.
