Head of Recruitment

About the Position:


The European Azerbaijan School is seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organized Head of Recruitment to lead and develop the full recruitment cycle across the organization. This role requires a strong leader who can design effective hiring strategies, manage recruitment operations, and ensure the school attracts and hires the highest-quality professionals in both academic and administrative positions.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Recruitment Leadership


Develop and implement the school’s recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Forecast staffing needs and create annual recruitment plans for all departments.
Lead employer branding initiatives to position EAS as a top workplace in the education sector.


Operational Recruitment Management


Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including vacancy announcements, screening, interviewing, and selection.
Ensure timely and high-quality hiring for academic, administrative, and leadership roles.
Supervise and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring productivity and professional growth.


Process Improvement & Compliance


Create and continuously update recruitment policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
Maintain compliance with local labor laws and internal regulations.
Use data and analytics to evaluate recruitment performance and implement improvements.


Stakeholder Engagement


Collaborate with department heads and school leadership to understand recruitment needs.
Ensure excellent communication and coordination throughout the hiring process.
Represent the Recrutiment Department in internal and external meetings related to talent acquisition.


Onboarding & Employee Experience


Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Support initiatives that enhance employee integration, engagement, and retention.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, labor legislation, and Recruitment processes.
Experience working in educational institutions is an advantage.
