Responsibilities:





1. Guest Reception & Assistance:
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and general information about the hotel, restaurant, or venue.
Escort guests to designated areas (e.g., restaurant, lounge, meeting rooms).
Ensure a smooth check-in and seating process for dining or event reservations.
2. Customer Service & Experience:
Provide a personalized and professional guest experience.
Handle special requests, such as VIP accommodations or accessibility needs.
Address guest concerns or complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
Offer recommendations on hotel amenities, restaurants, and local attractions.
3. Coordination & Communication:
Communicate guest arrivals and preferences with relevant departments (front desk, concierge, restaurant, etc.).
Maintain an updated record of guest reservations, inquiries, and service requests.
Work closely with security to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
4. Lobby Presentation & Organization:
Ensure the lobby area is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
Monitor seating areas, refreshment stations, and informational displays.
Assist in setting up decorations, promotional materials, or special event arrangements.
5. Administrative & Operational Support:
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or messaging systems.
Manage guest reservations and waitlists efficiently.
Assist in event coordination and VIP guest arrangements.
Provide feedback to management on guest experiences and areas for improvement.





Requirements:





1. Experience & Skills:
Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or customer service representative (preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or luxury setting).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and hospitality etiquette.
Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
Experience with reservation systems, POS systems, or front desk software is a plus.
2. Personal Qualities:
Polished, professional appearance and positive attitude.
Friendly, welcoming, and approachable personality.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask efficiently.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Attention to detail in guest service and lobby presentation.
3. Technical & Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
Basic computer and administrative skills (email, Microsoft Office, reservation systems).
Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. Education & Language:
High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or tourism degree is a plus).
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus, especially in international hotels or venues).
