Mid/Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary:


We are looking for a motivated Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage critical security technologies, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Network Access Control (NAC). This role also involves creating secure network architectures and conducting security audits to enhance overall system resilience and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage, configure, and optimize NGFWs to ensure comprehensive network protection.
Deploy and maintain WAF solutions to safeguard web applications from threats.
Implement and manage NAC systems to enforce access control policies.
Design and improve secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures.
Conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.


Requirements:


3+ years of experience in network security or a related field.
Hands-on experience with NGFWs (e.g., Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower), WAFs (e.g., F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare), and NAC solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, FortiNAC).
Strong understanding of secure network design principles and networking protocols.
Experience conducting security audits and compliance assessments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall Engineer, Fortinet Certified Professional or other vendor-specific certifications).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Skills:


Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible).
